About Us
Synergy Fitness, formerly known as Calgym, was founded in Qld in 1976 and is today one of Australia’s most successful distributors of commercial fitness equipment, which now includes Cybex, the world’s premium line of commercial fitness equipment.
Founded in the 1960’s, Cybex is distributed into over 90 countries around the world. Cybex leads the fitness industry in providing scientific basis for the development of exercise machines that enhance human performance and holds over 90 design patents.
Calgym was the first manufacturer in the world to introduce compound converging/diverging arc, unilateral movement technology to its upper body pin loaded machines in the early 1990’s. These original, very simple, yet highly effective revolutionary designs still form the basis of our Synergy strength line and are now essentially copied in various forms by leading manufacturers around the world.
Synergy’s dominant market position, within the fitness and sports industries, has been earned on the basis of quality product lines, dedicated service and consultancy support, together with unparalleled industry knowledge and expertise, resulting in unprecedented customer satisfaction. Our company has its own salaried, product support team, established to offer prompt and efficient customer service.
Calgym resistance training equipment is distributed worldwide by Synergy Fitness. As well as being the worldwide distributors of Calgym Strength products, Synergy Fitness is also the exclusive Australian Distributor of Cybex, Stex Cardio (one of the world’s most reliable range of heavy duty commercial cardiovascular training equipment), as well as the attractive Kaesun commercial cardio equipment.
